Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

We are back and running at full steam. We had an excellent School Mass led by 8th grade today focused on the "Works of Mercy". The mass concluded with our St. Vincent de Paul President sharing with students how meaningful the great SVdP food drive had been in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Our December food drive brought in a record 2,591 dollars and items! Fr. Jack's homily was about how our hearts must be moved... and they have been and continue to be... through the mercy of Christ!

Let us be moved in kindness these next few weeks as the viaduct comes down and traffic stress grows. We have our own little street closure I just learned about today from the City. Next week 34th is having some Sewer Line upgrades and so Tues-Fri please try to avoid 34th by our ELC as much as possible in your pickup and drop-off routines.

Today FCE packets were sent home with Trivia Night, info on Catholic Schools Week & Special Persons day, plus much more! Tomorrow you'll be receiving an email regarding your families Intent to Return next year, beginning our re-enrollment process. We have many full classes but also high interest, so we want to have an accurate count as we enter into the enrollment / Open House season!

As you return your FCE envelopes tomorrow, also remember it is Spirit Wear day (I'm sure your child will remind you)!

This weekend at Mass is one of three opportunities to provide input into our School Strategic Plan (updating the old Vision 2018). School Commission Members and others on our Vision Committee hope to see you after Mass on Sunday! Two more dates are also on our our school calendar.
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer
