Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

Our all-virtual Auction was a great success thanks to the many volunteers and the Parent Org leadership! We even were able to complete the transformation of the gym into Middle School Learning spaces right afterward so this week brought back all our middle school classes on campus. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who made this possible. And our online registration for 2021-22 school year has kicked-off! What a week it has been!

Next week holds a few special school-wide events, including Sunday's Rice Bowl meal event in the parish, "free-dress" Wednesday for those wearing green for St. Patricks' day, plus all-school Mass on Thursday morning (Livestream) hosted by our 4th graders!

Read on below for more registration information, auction report-out, our upcoming Parent & student Internet Safety course, and more!!! My M/W/F 2pm "Office Hour" (links on school calendar) continues to be open for further communication connections as we move ahead on our Lenten Journey.
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

School Happenings
2021-2022 Registration Now Open
Deadline: March 24th
Registration is now open for next school year. Some classes are full right now, so it is important to re-register now for your child's spot in next year's class. Registration for re-enrolling and new families is slightly different than mentioned at State of the School, so check your email this week for instructions and links. Questions? Contact Laura Wong or Shelley Bradley.

Returning families, here are answers to some common questions:
  • Registration fees will be invoiced in FACTS by the end of March. If you have signed up for AutoPay, no action required -- payment will processed April 20th. If you do NOT have AutoPay for incidental expenses, you will need to authorize payment between March 30th - April 20th.
  • Siblings new to OLG? - Please use the re-enrolling registration link in your email and click the Add button to enter additional new siblings. If you haven't already, the front office will need a copy of the birth certificate, immunizations, and baptismal certificate. Your acceptance letter for new child should also outline this as well: it all begins with the application process!
Uniforms Exchange open! We have extra inventory of sweatshirts, fleece, sweaters and boys pants. Contact Erin Pedras with a list of uniform pieces and sizes you need. More about uniforms

Have ya' heard? K-3rd grade Soccer is also back! K and 1st grade is coed 4v4. 2nd and 3rd grade is single gender (separate boys and girls teams) 6v6. Enrollment is open NOW! Teams need to be registered by March 26th and the season starts April 17. Hit us up if you have any questions about the season and the Covid protocols that will be in place. A virtual Track season will be happening this year as well (4th-8th). Enrollment is only $25 and open now. With the current restrictions in place (and assuming we will continue to be limited to smaller gatherings throughout the Spring season), CYO cannot offer in-person meets. However, CYO is still hoping to be able to offer the 8th Grade Pentathlon, in person and split into two events (boys/girls) on Sunday, May 23rd.

Lastly, CYO is offering virtual Parent Like a Champion Workshops. The workshop will be a requirement for all parents registering for CYO athletics and is an opportunity to build the best possible Catholic youth sports experience. Any coaches who have already completed the PLACT training are not required to attend the workshop.
