Dear St. Alphonsus Families,
Welcome to the home stretch! We hope you all enjoyed a nice long weekend and a little taste of summer. Some of our scouts participated in a wonderful memorial as part of Memorial Day--check it out below!
Our 8th graders are also in the home stretch. We will celebrate them at our school Mass tomorrow, and then the graduation Mass & ceremony takes place on Saturday. Congrats to these 5 gentlemen--we are so proud of you!
ITBS test results were sent home with students in grades 3, 5, and 7 last Friday, May 23. If you have any questions or did not receive them, please get in touch with your child's homeroom teacher.
As much as we're not wishing summer away, don't forget that you can order your school supplies online via our school supply partner! More details and a link to order are below. Orders must be placed by June 30.
Also make plans to join us this summer at the Milwaukee Milkmen game on Friday, July 18! School families usually end up sitting in sections 101, 102, and 103. You can find the link to order tickets below!
Please note that the last school Mass of the year will take place on Friday, June 6, our last day of school, which is also 10:00am dismissal. This means there is NOT a school Mass on Wednesday, June 4. Please make a note for your calendars.
Please be sure to check out all the other great items in this week's newsletter, including a lovely note from Father Anthoni.
Best regards,
Ms. Parey, Principal

With a Grateful Heart - Greetings from Fr. Anthoni!
Dear St. Alphonsus School Community:
As I prepare to return to India after two wonderful years with you, my heart is filled with joy and gratitude. I take this moment to sincerely thank you:
To Dear Parents: From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the incredible privilege of being part of your children's journey. Thank you for entrusting your children to grow not only academically but also spiritually, allowing space for prayer, service, and the deepening of their Catholic faith. I appreciate the trust you place in the school leadership and the warmth and kindness you have shown me personally. Your generous gift of time and dedication to school activities has been a true blessing to all. It has truly been a privilege to witness your children’s growth in both learning and faith within this caring parish school community.
To the School Leadership: Thank you for your warm welcome, constant support, and the friendship you extended to me. I am especially grateful for the opportunities you gave me to engage with the students in meaningful ways. Your leadership created a space where both faith and learning could thrive.
To the Staff and Volunteers: Thank you for your dedication and many other ways you make St. Alphonsus School a life-enriching place. Although I did not work with most of you directly, I have been grateful for the moments we have smiled, greeted, and prayed for each other. Your quiet, behind-the-scenes assistance, whether preparing for School Mass, Reconciliation, Rosary, the Christmas Concert, and so much more, have greatly enriched the life of our school. Thank you for living a service-centered life that inspires us all.
To All Dear Students: You are great! Thank you for your energy, enthusiasm, and the joy you bring to this school every day. Keep nurturing your faith, service, knowledge, and curiosity; they will guide you well on your journey ahead. I am grateful for the moments we shared and wish you all the very best in everything you do.
Finally, gifts by Home and School, the beautiful framed picture from the Rosary club students, Christmas gift cards, and greetings are deeply appreciated and will be fondly remembered.
Please know that you will remain in my prayers, and I kindly ask for yours as I begin this next chapter in seminary formation and ministry. May God bless you all.
If you ever find yourself traveling to India, feel free to reach out at anthoijeorge@gmail.com, I would be happy to welcome you to my community.
With prayers and blessings,
Fr. Anthoni Jeorge, MI

The New Family Committee is looking for volunteer mentor families!
Help us welcome new families to St. Alphonsus! This is a very low-key commitment and a great way to get your whole family involved at school. We ask mentor families to exchange contact information with new families so they can have someone to contact with questions, and all mentor & new families attend a social event to welcome them to the school in the fall. Your relationship with your mentor family can be as involved as you want it to be!
If interested, please contact Dawn Eisold.
