First Holy Communion Celebration
Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,
Congrats to our First Communion recipients this past weekend! Mrs. Hoch and Zbaracki, plus our parish friends have had quite a journey this year. Aalthough you can't see it, behind those masks are big smiles! Enjoy the pictures of this celebration of our faith!

Thank you families for your ongoing support of our teachers, especially this week of Teacher Appreciation. We've loved the notes of kindness (and staff room treats) this week! Want to help out somewhere else? We do have a few more slots for play/bark chip spreading this afternoon! Please log volunteer hours by May 31st as this is an important factor in showing outside donors the strength of our entire community at work together! More to come next week after Tuesday's Parent Org meeting.
We've sent a printed Strategic Plan, Vision 2025, home this week with your youngest student, please check their backpack! It is also online and is a key guide to carry the mission of OLG into the future.

Speaking of future, our next wave of incoming families has begun! Thursday, May 13th is our New Family Night. All our new families are excited to hear how we've accomplished safe return to in-person learning this year, and our plans for Fall of 2021 continuing with full schedule & in-person! Kindergarten and 5th Grade still have open spots, plus limited seats in some other grades. Your referrals are the strongest testament to our strength as a community! Thank you for all you do as we journey together "as a sacramental community united and empowered by the Holy Spirit."
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

A Future Full of Hope
This year's Annual Catholic Appeal has us reflect upon A Future Full of Hope: Passion for our Faith, Promise for our Future, Care for our Community, and Love for our Family. Working together, gifts to the Annual Catholic Appeal provide the necessary funds to support more than 60 ministries and services throughout Western Washington.
The Annual Catholic Appeal goal for our parish is $76,228. Any amount in excess of the goal will come back to the parish. If we do not meet our goal, the parish will need to make up the shortfall out of our budget. This year we will use the rebate to create a sacred and proper space for the blessed sacrament in the church. Did you know that our current church building was meant to be temporary?...Click here for more
