Principal's Letter
Dear OLG Families,

This week we honored our veterans in preparation for the long weekend. Dr. Christina Long spoke to our student body about her experiences and family traditions in the military, and we reflected as a school on service! Hooray to the 4th grade for putting on this excellent program and don't forget to thank a Veteran this Monday when schools are closed!

Speaking of service, our Student Council wrapped-up our drive this week for St. Bernadette (Burien). Our Many Parts came together as One Body raising over $500 in small cash donations! I know the St. B's community will be very appreciative of this kindness from a neighboring school.

This week wrapped-up our Fall Conferences. Thank you to all parents, students, and teachers for progress checks, how the year has begun, and what we are looking forward to continuing this year. In working together we can all make OLG the best school, the best experience, the best community possible!
As I look ahead to the next few weeks, it seems time compresses...next week is only four school days, but in those days we have a Parent Org meeting, host a regional Middle School Forum, a School Commission meeting, Math Night, and on Saturday hold our annual CYO Italian Dinner! Wow! We've got a lot going on! Check your child's bag for this week's FCE or read on below. Let Go Bulldogs!
Yours in Christ,

Anton Kramer

Kudos to Miles Trius and OLG CYO
Miles Trius (2019 OLG graduate) will be running on Saturday for Seattle Prep in their state varsity race in Pasco, WA for cross county. It is also a testimony to the many hands that have gotten Miles this far like his CYO coaches and parents Dan Womac, Daren Monroe and Jake Sullivan who have pushed him at OLG. Miles also gave back to OLG as he devoted his time to raise money for new jerseys for the CYO cross country and track team through his Juan Diego Project.
