"Way to Go" Draw
We are excited to continue our monthly Way to Go draw during the NH Interim Home Learning program. Students can earn a Way to Go when they have been observed doing something awesome!

Examples include: working really hard on something or going out of their way to help others. Teachers will be watching for these awesome moments and will be giving out Way to Go's.
The next draw will take place on Wednesday May 27th and the winner of the $15 Walmart gift card will be announced in the Newsletter that day.
Talent Show!
With everyone at home one would think that New Heights would have to cancel their Talent Show, well think again! We are still moving forward with this year's Talent Show!

On  May 14  we will be broadcasting the Talent Show to you at home over the internet!

Here's how it will work:

Over the next four weeks students will have to consider what talent they would like to share. Then you will have to film it and submit the video by  May 7  to this Google Drive Folder:

We will edit all the videos together and create a private listing on YouTube of the Talent Show for everyone to see. The video will premiere in a live presentation on  May 14 at 1:30 .   We will sent out a link once everything has been prepared, be sure to tune in!

Any questions? Feel free to send Ryan ( ryan.mcculloch@newheightscalgary.com ) an email.

Despite the building being closed, we are continuing to accept registrations for the 2020-2021 school year. Please contact Alison Black, our Admissions Coordinator at alison.black@newheightscalgary.com for more information.
Grad 2020
Our graduation ceremony and celebration will be postponed to the Fall. We look forward to celebrating our five graduates in person at that time. We will also be honoring our grads in a virtual tribute during the month of June. More details will come.

Tech Spot

Google Classroom

In the NH Interim Learning Program many students are using Google Classroom to interact in learning activities and instruction. There is an app for Google Classroom that students and parents can download onto their devices (tablets or mobile phones). Students can adjust notifications to be notified whenever a teacher posts. You can also download Google apps such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides to use on your devices.
