We’re unfortunately seeing the results of putting someone who’s failed at economics his whole life in charge of the strongest economy in the world.

This shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone. Companies that Donald Trump ran filed bankruptcy 6 times! 6! So, running the largest economy in the world is not something he’ll be able to do. And oh by the way, if we’d filed bankruptcy once, much less 6 times, we’d be screwed for life, but rich people like him get the breaks we don’t because they’ve been using the system to screw us our whole lives.

If you file bankruptcy 6 times, that means your business has failed and you didn’t bring in enough money and also means that there’s a real chance you’ll bankrupt future endeavors like maybe America

If someone had been convicted of 6 bank robberies, I wouldn’t hire that person to run the Federal Reserve.

While we’re at it we need to revamp our tax code and our campaign finance laws to ensure incompetent inheritors like Trump and Musk pay their fair sure, and to make sure the wealthy can only contribute the same amount of money to campaigns as the rest of us. And, as long as we’re talking about campaigns, voting in Ohio and America, needs to be easier, not harder. We landed man on the moon 56 years ago, but I still have to go someplace to vote with a pencil, I can’t register to vote on Election Day, and if I’m lucky I get to pay to vote by buying a stamp. Just absurd. American doesn’t need to be made greater, just easier and better.

This amendment would authorize a $2.5 billion general obligation bond, limited to $250 million per year over 10 years, to fund the State Capital Improvement Program (SCIP) through the Ohio Public Works Commission. Read more here.

The Proposed Ohio House of Representatives Budget Threatens the Funding of Public Libraries - The Ohio House of Representative’s proposed budget will dismantle the Public Library Fund – replacing it with an unstable funding structure that could severely impact the ability of public libraries in Cuyahoga County to offer programming, resources, services and spaces – just as the demand for these services is growing.

The proposed budget reduces funding for the libraries in Cuyahoga County by nearly 25%. - Ask Ohio House of Representatives to restore the Public Library Fund.

The SAVE Act would not make voting more secure; it would just make it harder for millions of Americans to vote.

Voters would need to provide one of the following documents to register:

US Birth Certificate
US Passport
Certificate of Naturalization
Certificate of Citizenship

WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

140 Million US Citizens do not have a passport
Up to 69 million WOMEN who changed their last name after marriage do not have a birth certificate matching their legal name

"My name is ____ and I'm one of your constituents from [CITY]. I urge you to oppose the anti-voter “SAVE” Act because it would scare newly naturalized citizens out of voting and make it harder for millions of eligible voters to cast a ballot. Please reject this legislation."
