This Sunday we will welcome guest preacher, Rev. Robin Bell, the Superintendent for the/our Northeast District of for the Missouri Annual Conference!
Rev. Robin M. (Roderick) Bell finds great inspiration in being a District Superintendent. “The stories of what is happening in people, churches, communities — is often amazing. When things are a bit tough, learning to work through tension is a way to learn and grow for all of us. My personal vision statement is to create enthusiasm for the living and the learning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and I’m grateful for this season of ministry.” Rev. Robin is a graduate of St. Paul School of Theology, has won various awards, and served on district and conference teams. She found it a profound privilege to serve as a jurisdictional conference delegate and then in 2012 as a general and jurisdictional conference delegate for Missouri. She looks forward to continuing to learn of people and places with the new alignment. She has a grown daughter who lives in Kansas City. While she cringes when people ask if she has any hobbies, still loves The Big Bang Theory and to be in water — pools, sprinklers, lakes, oceans — and trying to keep up with her beloved Bernadette, a two-year-old Rottweiler, and her cats, Penny and Sheldon.

How to find the Sunday morning worship service online
The Sunday morning worship services are now being streamed from the Maplewood UMC website. The link to the live stream is on the home page. Go to maplewoodumc.org.
Click on the yellow button that says “Join Our Live Stream on Sundays at 11 a.m.” This will take you to a new page with the live stream. This week we intend to have the ability to make comments on the website livestream. (Last week, despite efforts to make the change there was another option on the website to click for the live stream. We are working with the website tech support to have this alternate black box removed. If it is not yet removed by Sunday, please ignore it and click on the yellow box as instructions indicate above.). Thank you for your patience as these changes are made.
The worship service can also be accessed on the Maplewood UMC Church app.
For Facebook users, we will post the link to online worship on Facebook a few minutes before the worship service begins. As a backup for at least a few more weeks we intend to also stream from Facebook

DEADLINE for the church newsletter is MIDNIGHT EVERY TUESDAY; send articles to jbrx10@yahoo.com.
