Fast Food Friday
This week's Fast Food Friday is Papa John's Pizza and will benefit our Cheer Squad. The order form can be found here. Please turn in the form and correct change by Thursday.

Star Student
Each month, one student from every elementary class is recognized as our Star Student! This honor highlights a different character trait each month, and students are chosen for the way they model that trait in their words and actions. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate character, leadership, and positive influence at NCA. Our first Start Student Assembly will be this Thursday, August 28. Parents of this month's Star Student will be notified.

House of Hope
Our first House of Hope Day will be on Thursday, August 28! Students are encouraged to bring 3 cans of food as a donation to the Crowley House of Hope. As a thank you, they will be allowed to wear jeans or uniform bottoms along with a Christian or NCA shirt. Please note that House of Hope Day will occur on the last Thursday of each month moving forward.

Aslan Tryouts
We are looking for students who may be interested in being our Aslan Mascot and/or the Handler for Aslan. Aslan will show up at pep rallies, football games, and other events to represent our school and help raise School Spirit!
The Aslan handler will accompany the mascot around during each event. Aslan is a big part of our school! If you are looking for a way to get involved, this could be an exciting opportunity for you. Time as Aslan or the Handler can be counted as Community Service Hours needed for Graduation.
If interested, contact Mrs. Bennett by Thursday, August 28. Please include name, grade level, why you'd like to be Aslan (and/or the handler).

School Holiday
There will be no school on Monday, September 1, due to the Labor Day Holiday. The school office will also be closed. We will see you on Tuesday, Septmeber 2!

Absentee Alert
If your student will be absent, be sure to let us know! You can report your daily absences (sickness, appointment, etc.) and upcoming absences (family visits, college visits, vacations, etc) on our website. Once upcoming absences are submitted, they will be sent to Administration for approval. Parents and teachers will be notified of approval via email. Please give as much advanced notice as possible. Report both daily and upcoming absences here.

Food 4 Life is our Lunch Catering Program! You can find instructions for setting up your new account here. Lunch prices can be found here. This month's lunch menus can be found here.
PLEASE NOTE - Food delivery from food delivery services (Grubhub, Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.) is prohibited. Parents are welcome to bring their student lunch.
Helpful Hint for accessing your lunch account - When Food4Life (Meal Manage) emails their monthly menu, you can click on it and it should take you to your account balance.
