Happy 4th of July and Week 6, everyone! This week feels like Ohio is really showing off: long sunny days, cool breezes and warm nights ahead for the next few days. Grab the fam and head out to the beach or a park to catch the fireworks and enjoy this perfect summer week!

This week's newsletter is coming out a day early because we're hoping that you'll all be far away from your computers tomorrow, outside, and enjoying the holiday. You can still place Special Orders up until tomorrow night at midnight for them to come out on the routes this week. 
   It's tomato season!! You will likely see tomatoes in your bag most weeks from here till October, so you might want to figure out some new recipes. 

To help you deal with the onslaught, we made a Tomato Guide -- details and descriptions of most of the different types of tomatoes you'll see in your bags, as well as some of our favorite recipes. We have a delicious bag coming to you this week, perfect for the grill and dinners on the back porch. You'll also start to see all the reds and greens of summer: t omatoes, c herries, radishes, b unching onions, b roccoli, c ucumbers, z ucchini, k ale and some r ed leaf lettuce. The Omnivore subscribers will get a pack of our Italian sausage links: salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes add a slight zing to these fresh sausages. You'll get 4 big links in a package (1.25#.) The Vegetarians will be getting a pint of blueberries (if we have extras for sale we will list them online, or bring them to the stops--promise!) and a candy onion. The Large Share subscribers will be getting a whole extra meal: a quart of raw sauerkraut, a pack of spicy smoked kielbasa and some red potatoes (Large Vegetarians  will get pasta and green beans instead of the kielbasa.) REMINDERS
Payment Reminders coming out next week.

If you're on our Monthly Payment Plan or if you've racked up some purchases at the back of the truck, you should be getting a payment reminder email towards the beginning of next week. In that email, you'll find your account details, balance owed, and steps on how to make a payment. If you're itching to make a payment this week, you can always sign into your account to see your balance and pay online with a credit card, mail in a check (3800 Woodland Avenue, Cleveland OH 44115) or bring payment to your stop this week.

If you want to pay by check: please make all checks out to "Fresh Fork Market (even if Kevin tells you to make it out to him and promises you extra blueberries.) Also, please write your email address--the one associated with your account)--on the memo line, and "account payment." 


Have a dietary restriction or allergy? Give your Greeter a heads up at the stop. 

When you signed up, you probably entered your dietary restrictions or allergies into your account. That's perfect, but also-- the fastest and safest way to make sure you don't get something in your bag that you can't eat is to mention it to your Greeter if it's in the bag. You don't need to go into full details about what happens if you do eat any dairy or gluten, but just a quick heads up "BTW- I have an allergy to 'x'. Can I have a substitution?" would be sufficient. Happy member, happy Greeter.

Join Trevor & Adam for a master class on grilling! 

Next Tuesday, July 11th, Trevor & Adam (Ohio City Provisions) will be firing up the grills on the patio at Banter (7320 Detroit Ave.) This is a great class for those of you totally new to grilling, or seasoned flippers who want to learn some pro tips. Grab a friend, grab a beer in the shop and head out to learn about cooking with fire!
