Hon. David J. Ayres Appointed

Associate Village Justice

Hon. David J. Ayres was nominated Associate Village Justice by the Mayor of the Village of New Hyde Park and approved unanimously by the full board of trustees. He was sworn in by New Hyde Park Mayor Christopher Devane, pictured here. In this role, he will preside over building code violations, town code violations and vehicle and traffic law violations that occur within the confines of the village.


Kristen Fontaine Joins the Firm’s Appellate Practice

Kristen Fontaine joined the firm after working as a Senior Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, the busiest appellate court in the country. She works primarily on appeals and wrongful convictions.

Alexander Klein Sues Nassau County for Defamation on Behalf of Clients

Mr. Klein filed suit on behalf of three brothers who run a Cedarhurst jewelry shop against Nassau County and a county detective, asserting they were libeled by a Nassau County news release, accusing them of robbery, assault and unlawful imprisonment, charges that were later cleared after a grand jury declined to indict them.
