Basketball Highlights:
January 22 we had a visit from Carondelet Hall of Famer Jayne Appel Marinelli! She gave the girls some great words of wisdom on the mental side of the game, playing for the girls around you, pregame rituals, and how hard work pays off.  The basketball teams had a busy Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the basketball program headed down the 680 for their match up with Amador Valley. The Freshmen team set the tone with a strong win backed by solid defense. The JV team won their game in typical grind it out style. While the Varsity had an exciting game winning by 1! Saturday saw the Varsity team heading over to Heritage HS to play against St. Mary's of Stockton. They played tough all four quarters but just couldn't finish with a win.
