St. Joseph Families,

Being a part of Catholic Schools Week this month brought together the components that make St. Joseph School such an amazing place.  The staff and students participated and led so many activities with enthusiasm and cooperation, including a “Be the Light” parade with each class creating a float and ending with an amazing all school talent show!  We are grateful to the parents who expressed appreciation for the school in a variety of different ways.  Finally, we give thanks to the parish community for their continued the support and compassion for our school community.  On behalf of the staff, I would like to express our sincerest gratitude for all that make St. Joseph such a special place!  We will be planning more celebratory days in the near future to highlight our school community.

This time of the year the school begins the process of planning for the remainder of the year as well as making preparations for the 2023-24 school year.  It is important that we provide communication on our plans and reach out to families to ensure that there are opportunities to participate in the planning process. You are invited to an All School Principal-Parent Gathering On Tuesday, February 21st at 6:30 in the school hall. We will provide an agenda in next week’s newsletter that will include information on our curriculum, plans for the 2023-24 school year as well as how we can increase the effectiveness of school communication.  If there is a need for us to provide Zoom capabilities please let the office know through email.

Finally, as The Lenten Season nears, the staff will be planning activities to make this year a meaningful one for our students, such as a living Rosary, a live Stations of the Cross and service projects. Suggestions and input are welcomed from our school families. Please feel free to contact me if you have any ideas for our school.
