ATTENTION ALL GIRLS GRADES 3-8

Friday, February 10, we have our first volleyball practice from 6:30-8:30 pm in the school gym. All girls interested in playing (no experience necessary) are welcome to join. Parents, we are also looking for hidden volleyball talents to help us coach, assistant coach, or just lend a hand. For questions, please email [email protected]

Is your child a rising 6th, 7th or 8th Grader?

Standardized tests (Scantron, MAP, Placement tests, SAT/ACT) require specific skills that are rarely taught. Campers will learn practical tips and universal strategies that will help them to do their best in any testing situation. The life skills of perseverance, anxiety management, confidence, and time management that students will gain from this practice will be a bonus. Parents will receive multiple practice test results to view camper progress

Half Day Week 7: July 31 - August 4 -

Half Day Week 8: August 7 - August 11

08:00a - 12:00p


Cost: $250.00 for the whole week.


If you require a full day option, campers are able to move to the Primary camp once the half day is completed. Please see the notes on the registrations when making this choice.

Tuition Assistance

Catholic families living in the Diocese of Arlington with students registered in grades K-8 for the 2023-2024 school year are eligible to apply for tuition assistance.

Deadline to apply February 24th, 2023

  • 2022 tax returns and W-2s are required for verification by FACTS
  • Diocesan tuition assistance is not applicable to Preschool attendance

Families must apply online for tuition assistance through FACTS.

100 Days of School


Last Friday you may have seen some of our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten children wearing their 100 days of school celebration crowns. Look like they did a fantastic job of decorating them.

If your child received a Dress voucher at the Sunday Catholic Schools Week Mass (January 29th, 2023) then, students should present the voucher to their teacher as their payment for the Free Dress Day.

Reporting your child absent or late for school


Please contact the Saint Anthony's Attendance office each day your child is absent from school or if your child is expected to report late for school due to an appointment.


Parents whose students have an unreported absence after 10:30 am will receive a call from our School Nurse. Your child's absence will go unexcused until a parent provides a reason. Absence can be reported in two ways:

  • For continued illness, please send a report each morning.
  • Remember to cc [email protected] when reporting absences or dismissal changes to your child's teacher.

St. Anthony of Padua School follows Fairfax County Schools policy decisions on inclement weather, including closings, delayed openings, early closings, and cancellation of after-school and evening activities. All decisions on closings and delayed openings are made by 6:00 AM. For early closings, Fairfax County generally makes a decision between 10-11 AM. In the event of inclement weather, it is the parent’s responsibility to follow Fairfax County announcements concerning late openings and early closings. WTOP News is available at 103.5 FM, 103.9 FM, 107.7 FM, and www.wtop.com. When possible, information will also be posted on the school website and Facebook.
