Character Trait: Character

Someone with good character believes they should make good choices and shows over time that they almost always make choices that are honest, respectful, fair, caring and responsible.

From Head of School, Lacey Scadden
It is hard to believe we are in the last week of April especially when we think about the uncertainty we were in this time last year.
Overall our school community has done a great job following our COVID-19 protocols, wearing face coverings, social distancing, sanitizing high touch areas and frequent hand washing. We will continue to maintain our protocols through the end of the school year to minimize the risk of spread.
We appreciate our students following all our protocols. It has been a hard year without smiles or hugs!

I want to make you aware of a piece of harmful legislation that was recently introduced at the Colorado State Capitol that would have significant impacts on our school and other charter schools across Colorado.

In order to stop this proposal from moving forward, it is important that State Representatives hear from you, our families and our staff. We don’t ask you to do this often, so when we do, it’s because it’s important.

Reaching out will take less than two minutes, and our partner at the Colorado League of Charter Schools has made it easy for you to speak up by putting together a sample letter and contact information that you can easily send from your phone or computer. CLICK HERE to join me in taking action now.

Enrollment Open for 2021-2022!
We would love your help in spreading the word about open enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year.

When we ask students how they heard about CEC, 9 times out of 10 it is because a friend, relative, or neighbor shared this with them. Our schools continue to grow and we continue to impact more and more Colorado families because of YOU! If you know a family that could benefit from our program, you can share our Facebook posts, our Informational Webinars, or the link to enroll.

Please contact Jule Zehrung with any questions or suggestions!
