Over 1.1 million Americans lost their jobs in 2025 and now our money is going to Venezuela to help oil companies, to ICE to help racism, to a $20 billion bailout of Argentina, and $100, 000 to each resident of Greenland. Meanwhile, Trump’s tariffs have cost the average household AT LEAST $100 per month, and up to 15 million Americans will lose their health care in 2026. And closer to home, here in Ohio, FirstEnergy, which spent $60 million bribing officials to get a billion dollar bailout because its power plants were failing, including in other states, is now asking their buddies in the Republican party for approval to let energy outages happen more often and to last longer. No joke!

The point is, that under Republicans as is always the case, rich people get more money while the middle and working classes get less and have to pay for the rich to get richer. Corporations will ALWAYS be put above people by the Republican party.

Which is why Democrats have to get more people to vote. Period. And to do that we have to tell them what we’re going to do. Universal child care, houses that people can actually afford, lower tariffs and lower prices, stronger unions, better and less expensive health care. In short, 90% of this country needs more money and lower costs. So, let’s do that.

The City Club of Cleveland is platforming the leader of a known Ohio-based LGBTQIA+ hate group, the "Center for Christian Virtue."

The Rainbow Brigade will peacefully install themselves all along the sidewalk in each direction surrounding The City Club so that all passersby and arriving participants HAVE TO see the flood of solidarity and support for LGBTQIA+ people, allies, and communities--and our bright stance against hate.
