Dos Gatos is a new speak-easy style gastropub that will be serving a taco-centric menu prepared with house-made tortillas. Offering and celebrating traditional standards as well as some taco combos of their own design (e.g. duck confit, crab, etc). Dos Gatos' bar will serve classic cocktails and specialize in margarita variations with an extended selection of mezcals and tequilas.

Petition to the University of Maine Regarding the Hutchinson Center


Given the University of Maine’s decision to divest itself of the Hutchinson Center, we respectfully request that the Hutchinson Center be transferred to local ownership in order to:



  • Retain the Center as the premier educational, cultural and community center of the Midcoast Maine region;
  • Acknowledge and protect the community’s investment in the Center; and
  • Preserve the opportunity for higher education at the Hutchinson Center today and for the future.

Apply for Arts in the Park 2024


Applications for the 2024 Arts in the Park will be accepted now through February 26. This year's event will be held on June 29 & 30 at Steamboat Landing Park on the Belfast waterfront.


Artists that are full time residents or summer residents of Maine can apply to the show. This is a juried event. Applicants will be contacted to participate after jurying in March.
