Chair's Corner

The time to elect Democrats is not in November. Or October. It is today when we lay the groundwork. At our website right now, we need you to sign up for our Voter Engagement Project.

We have to speak with Democrats and Independents about voting now, and we’ve made that possible with this flyer. Two vote-by-mail forms. A Board of Elections envelope. Get these to people’s doors and they will use them to vote by mail.

How can we be sure absentee voting is effective and reliable? One, for 2.5 centuries mail voting has worked just fine for members of the military. Two, Republicans are flat out lying--as they always do-- about the safety or reliability of mail voting. How do we know that. Because three, both Donald Trump, and Ohio’s own Secretary of State, Frank LaRose, the man in charge of our state’s elections, vote by mail. If it wasn’t reliable, those two would not be doing it.

So, go to our website to sign up, and also visit the Board of Elections website to request your ballot today at boe.cuyahoga.gov/voters.

Please join us as we gather each week from noon to 2:00 pm in front of Tesla Motors, 5180 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst.

What began as a protest against Elon Musk when he worked with/for Trump last year has expanded to a protest against the administration's domestic and foreign policies. The Tesla Motors site is a high visibility location for protest because of the number of cars passing by on Saturdays.
