4th of July Parade

Kick off the celebration with our beloved 4th of July Parade! The parade begins at Westward Drive & Esplanade Drive and will feature Elected Officials, Dry/ Wet zones, local organizations, and more.
4th of July Pool Party
Friday, July 4th | 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Cool off at the Miami Springs Aquatic Center with music, games, and splash-filled fun for the whole family.
Fireworks on the Golf Course
Friday, July 4th | Fireworks begin at dusk
End the evening with a spectacular fireworks display over the Miami Springs Golf Course. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for the best views and enjoy the show.

28th Annual Miami Springs Classic Car & Truck Show on the Circle
Saturday, July 5th | 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Continue the celebration with a night of nostalgia at the Classic Car & Truck Show on the Circle. Enjoy vintage cars, food vendors, music, and a festive atmosphere the whole family will love.
This year's event features a Centennial "Curtiss Derby", hosted by the Cub Scout Pack 425, where kids can build, decorate and race their own pinewood derby cars with a Centennial Twist. Enjoy music by DJ Scott the Music Man, walk around and explore a stunning display of classic cars and trucks while supporting our local restaurants with delicious foods for the whole family.

Wheels & Shields - Community Bike Ride
Wednesday, July 16th | 5:45 PM – 6:30 PM
Get ready for another exciting Wheels & Shields Community Bike Ride on Tuesday, July 16! Families are invited to join officers from the Miami Springs Police Department for a fun and safe group ride through the neighborhood. The ride will start at 6:00 PM from the parking lot outside of the Miami Springs Police Station (201 Westward Drive, on Park Street) and end at the Miami Springs Aquatic Center (1401 Westward Drive). This is a great opportunity for kids and families to connect with local officers while enjoying some outdoor activity.
At the end of the ride, participants can cool off and enjoy popsicles courtesy of the Parks and Recreation staff. Wheels & Shields is a monthly summer event that promotes safety, fitness, and community engagement, and we encourage families to join us each Tuesday throughout the summer. Don’t forget your helmet and water bottle, and we’ll see you at the starting line!

Public Works Holiday Schedule Notice:
Independence Day Trash Collection
In observance of Independence Day, there will be no garbage or bulk trash collection on Friday, July 4th. Regular garbage service will resume on Tuesday, July 8th, and bulk trash collection will resume on Friday, July 11th.
Residents are kindly asked not to place bulk trash on the swale or in the alley before Thursday, July 10th. Additionally, the Public Works Administrative Office will be closed on July 4th. We appreciate your cooperation and wish everyone a safe and happy Independence Day!

Tee times on Independence Day will be available from 6:40 AM to 8:00 AM off the 1st and 10th tees.
The Practice Facility will remain open until 11:00 AM, and the Golf Shop will close early at 1:00 PM.

🔧 Upcoming Course Maintenance
Please note the golf course will be closed for aerification from July 14 through July 20 and will reopen on Monday, July 21.
During this maintenance period, the Driving Range will remain open with adjusted hours:
- July 14: 1 PM – 9 PM
- July 15–18: 7 AM – 9 PM
- July 19–20: 7 AM – 6 PM

Miami Springs Passport Acceptance Facility
Planning international travel? The City of Miami Springs Passport Acceptance Facility is here to help with your U.S. passport needs. Appointments can be conveniently scheduled online using our appointment system, which displays available dates and times. Once your appointment is set, you’ll receive confirmation via text or email. The facility is open Monday through Friday, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 6:00 p.m.
To help streamline the process, the facility offers on-site passport photo services for $15.00 and provides guidance on the required documentation. Applicants must bring proof of U.S. citizenship, valid photo ID, and payment for fees.
