In June, Fello’s Self-Directed Services Team invited participants, employees, Support Brokers, and CCSs to share their experiences. We want to thank John Wright, Joyce Middleton, Ashly Nunn, Ian Atkinson, and Derrick Wright for sharing their time and knowledge.
What we learned:
Ian shared that self-directing his services is the right choice for him. It helps him to do What he wants to do, like work and play softball.
Derek, Ian’s employee. He told us how much he loves supporting Ian.
John and Joyce are Support Brokers. They explained their job and how they support people.
Ashly is a Coordinator of Community Service (CCS) Supervisor. She talked about the CCS role in self-direction.
Our team learned a lot about each role in the program. We also learned how our daily work affects the lives of the people we serve.
