Belfast Soup Kitchen does much more than just providing a hot lunch every day, we also provide a comprehensive range of services for our community including, takeout meals, evening meals, emergency food box delivery, biweekly grocery delivery, and the HUSH weekend backpack meal program for children. Our Kindness Community Market visits further empower individuals with access to nutritious, healthy food which is often locally sourced. This multi-faceted approach ensures we are meeting the diverse needs within our community.

Inaugural Summer Shakespeare Festival Opens July 30


MidCoast Shakes will hold their inaugural Summer Shakespeare Festival July 30th, August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd! They are thrilled to bring Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to the Belfast community with five shows over 4 days.

You're invited to join them for a very special 2-show day on Saturday, August 2nd, with a family-fun event at 5pm! Crafts! Puppets! Soundscape workshop! Snacks and much more!


All events are free–donations welcome–so bring a friend, a blanket or chair to sit on, and come join in at Belfast City Park for one of Shakespeare’s most beloved works and fun for the whole family!

(plus service fee), thanks to the Chamber! If you love the coast of Maine, you won't want to miss this high-end, summer event in Rockland, Maine, the second weekend in August.


Each year the show gathers Maine's finest artists, boatbuilders, craftsmen, designers, furniture makers, jewelers, and marine gear vendors together in ONE place at ONE time! Meet them all in person at the annual Maine Boat & Home Show.


The Maine Boat & Home Show is the largest in-the-water boat show north of Newport. This event features boats in the water and boats on land, combined with dozens of Maine’s most talented craftspeople on one spectacular waterfront site.
