Event Report: Living Legacy Center's SummerFest

July 9, 2022: The Living Legacy Center hosted their celebration of summer with SummerFest held at the center's headquarters. Attendees enjoyed refreshments and toured the garden and saw changes to the youth crafts area, including a new fence. The band Cover Story brought classic rock tunes to the scene. Special Thanks: Living Legacy Center receives donation from the Cy-Fair Womens Club

July 11, 2022: The Cy-Fair Women's Club [CyFairWomensClub.org] is a local organization providing scholarships to area students, charitable assistance, volunteer services, and financial support to local non-profit entities. The club graciously donated $1000 to the Living Legacy Center in honor of its work with the elderly, veterans, and special needs persons.

The Living Legacy Center will be attending the club's Shop 'til You Drop fundraiser event at the Berry Center on September 10th. Visit the club's web page [CyFairWomensClub.org] for more information.
Service Report: Living Legacy Center teams again with Cavalry Chapel West Houston

July 16, 2022: Volunteers with the Living Legacy Center went to downtown Houston to hand out food, clothing, and water to those in need. Cavalry Chapel West Houston [CavalryWestHouston.org] was also there helping and sharing the word of Jesus.

Service Report: Living Legacy Center assembles care bags for HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball

July 23, 2022: Living Legacy Center volunteers filled care kits with easy-open canned goods, snacks, and toiletries for the homeless. This was done in partnership with HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball for a nurse's school project.
Service Report: Living Legacy Center assists Sanctuary of Surrender

August 13, 2022: Sanctuary of Surrender [Facebook], is a nonprofit providing respite care for women in crisis pregnancies. The Living Legacy Center continues expanding its network of local organizations and assisted with legal filings for a Sanctuary of Surrender client.

We currently have garden plots available for lease. $60 gets a plot and access to garden tools and seeds through the harvest season. Reach us through the contact email at the bottom of the newsletter to reserve.
