June Business After Hours

Every month our Chamber hosts an after hours event designed for members to casually meet and build relationships with business people from companies and organizations representing a variety of industries in our region.

Our next BAH will be hosted by:

Penobscot Marine Museum

Wednesday, June 18th, 530pm - 7pm

40 E. Main Street, Searsport

Maine Tourism Association will also be networking with us for a 'Toast to Tourism' ahead of our summer season!

Arts in the Park Needs Volunteers!

Love art and fine craft? Love being outdoors by the ocean? We've got an event you might love to help with! Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to help with Arts in the Park this year.

Arts in the Park will be held Saturday & Sunday,

June 28 & 29, 10am-4pm

Volunteers can help in several ways, but primarily we look to have help at the Information Booth at the front of the park, welcoming visitors and showing where a certain artists might be located on the map, and also volunteers will go around the park to see if there are any artists who may need a brief break to use the restroom, get food or drink, etc. Volunteers are not expected to sell any products, only "booth-sit" momentarily and let any potential customers know the artists will be right back. Someone can also mind the gate with traffic by the Boathouse and our visiting musicians may need a hand with things.

If you have two hours or more you could offer on either day, please email AITP@belfastmaine.org with your contact information and availability (morning, midday, afternoon).
