The Basketball League at Brackett Park is a FREE recreational basketball league for Bristol youth ages 11-17 of all genders and skill levels. The league will consist of six weeks of regular season games and one week of playoffs, ending with a championship game and a food truck celebration for all registered program members to enjoy! Bristol resident and long time parks supporter, James Cleveland, has been awarded the 2026 All Heart Parks Advocate of the Year Award.

Cleveland is recognized for his longstanding park advocacy and generous financial contribution to the establishment of the James R. Cleveland Wildflower Field at Bristol’s Pigeon Hill Preserve, located at 315 Shrub Road. Read More

Please join us in welcoming our newest team member, Bristol resident Jeff Arduini, as the new Community Services Coordinator!

As Community Services Coordinator, Jeff is responsible for providing short-term case management; supporting qualifying residents with basic needs including financial, social, nutritional, environmental, medical and protective services. He also coordinates major community services programs including relocation program, holiday gift giving program, and the caring closet to name a few. Jeff will work closely with other social service agencies and participate in teams including Bristol Cares, Code Enforcement and the Mayors Opioid Task Force.

In anticipation of his role Jeff stated, “I’m passionate about helping strengthen the Bristol community by connecting residents with meaningful services and support. I look forward to making a positive impact and helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered”. Read More

BPRYCS is excited to announce the substantial completion of Phase I of the Page Park Revitalization Project!

We are putting the final touches on Phase I of the Page Park Revitalization Project. The most recent and highly anticipated update to be completed was the installation and programming of lights at the Pickleball Courts. Lights can now be controlled from the court or from the main office via enhanced software.
