The Luck of the Irish to you!

We had a very green day today. It was lovely to see all the students enjoying themselves and supporting our Student Council.

Dear Parents,

As we enter the third and final trimester of the school year, I am amazed as how much the students have learned and grown! Our recent athletic successes are just one example of the great things happening here at St. Anthony's. The teachers continue to deliver high-quality instruction by making use of the data from assessments given to determine every child's strengths and weaknesses. But of course, your child is more than a test score to us. We love them each as a child of God. We want to provide high-quality spiritual formation and social development as well. Those aspects are much harder to measure. Therefore, we must rely on you as our partners to help us evaluate our work. At this point in the year, I would like to ask for your feedback on how well we are meeting the goals of our mission to "foster a love of Jesus and His Gospel, forming lifelong disciples in service to the Church and society while empowering students to achieve academic excellence in a culturally diverse environment."

Please use this link to complete a short (10 question) Parent Survey.

Using the FREE platform, we are restricted in how many responses we can have (100), so please limit yours to one child in your household at this time. Your answers are completely anonymous, so be as blunt as you like. Mrs, Snyder and I are seeking your honest assessment of what we are doing well, and where we could improve. I very much look forward to learning from what you have to say!

May the Lord bless you and keep you,

Amy Fry, Principal

Which is it?

If you tend to get "colds" that start suddenly and happen at the same time every year, it's possible that you actually have seasonal allergies. Although colds and seasonal allergies may share some of the same symptoms, they are very different diseases.

Common colds are caused by viruses. Seasonal allergies, however, are immune system responses triggered by exposure to allergens, such as seasonal tree or grass pollens.

You can treat a common cold with rest, pain relievers and cold remedies, such as decongestants. A cold often lasts 5-7 days in adults, although some may last as long as two or three weeks.

You can treat seasonal allergies with antihistamines, nasal steroid sprays and decongestants. Avoid exposure to allergens where possible. Seasonal allergies may last several weeks.
