Democracy Summer 2026
Congresswoman Brown is participating as a partner in the 2026 National Democracy Summer School! This one-of-a-kind Democratic Fellowship—founded by Congressman Jamie Raskin and expanded across the country in an historic partnership with the DCCC—is dedicated to recruiting thousands of high school and college-age students and training them as the next generation of Democratic political activists and leaders.

This six-week program will take place from Monday, June 22nd to Friday, August 7th and requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week. Fellows will participate in exciting online seminars and a powerful curriculum designed by Congressman Raskin, while also organizing on-the-ground with the Congresswoman's campaign in Ohio.

Throughout the academic portion, Fellows will learn from academic luminaries, inspiring political leaders, policy experts, issue advocates and top community organizers from all across the country.

Stand Up for Democracy in Lyndhurst but Don't Honk!

From the organizer: "On week 57 of protesting in front of Tesla, Lyndhurst, OH, the 55 folks who showed up on 3/14 were surprised to discover that City officials had put up signs designating the area as a “Quiet Zone”. Police proceeded to pull over motorists who were honking to give them a warning and said they would issue tickets in the future. As a result, about 45 folks moved down the street out of the “Quiet Zone” to continue protesting in front of the City Hall/Police Station while a smaller group remained in front of Tesla. Police then advised us that a citywide “no honking unless an emergency” ordinance would be enforced and continued to pull over motorists who honked in front of City Hall."
