Welcome to the Business Plus Newsletter!

March 2022

2022 Quarterly Meetings

Our theme this year is the Talent Pipeline and supporting our businesses in filling job opportunities. Our need for talent is great, from entry-level and service positions, to remote work, to highly skilled technical jobs. Solutions are complex and include attention to flexibility, wages, training and benefits. Organizations need to decide their own strategies for attracting talent, but they will have an advantage if they know the teams that provide support.

We will identify teams that support our Talent Pipeline, starting with our First Quarter meeting on students, and those who help bring students to the workforce. Our goal is to share programs that are in place now, and inspire more collaboration between business leaders, educators, counselors, and students. Future meetings will be about Talent Pipeline support at the regional, federal and state levels.

Our meetings are open to our Business Plus Investors, community leaders, educators and others interested in economic development. If you are interested in attending, please click below to request an invitation. Events are free, but space is limited.
