Candidates Invited to Apply for President Position

The search is on for the next President of the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The Executive Board has launched the search by reviewing and updating the description of the part-time position.

The President serves as the primary leader and representative of the Pauls Valley Chamber, working to support local businesses, promote community engagement, and encourage economic growth. This role oversees day-to-day chamber operations, coordinates events and programs, supports membership development, and works closely with the Chamber Board of Directors to advance the organization’s mission.

Eligible candidates will have applicable academic training and/or professional experience in areas including fiscal responsibilities, event planning, member support, community leadership, and communications and marketing. The position requires in-person work at the Chamber office a set number of part-time (20+) hours Monday through Friday, to be determined by the Board.

Board chair Joe Don Looney of EZ Green LLC heads the effort. Other committee members are Allie Crow of Physical Therapy Central, Katie Johnson of Grant & Katie Johnson CPA, Amy Thompson Brown of Thompson Sooner Home Furnishings, Becky Ledbetter of Pauls Valley National Bank, Travis John of TriVan Roofing and Jan Moran of AT&T.

Resumes from candidates should be submitted by March 25 via email sent to president@paulsvalleychamber.com.

The Pauls Valley Chamber has a proud history of serving the business and economic interests of its members since its founding more than 100 years ago. Today’s Chamber has 160 active members and the group is a member of both the State Chamber of Oklahoma and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Steve Freeman currently serves as Acting President, but he plans to step down soon.
