Chair's Corner

Hi, Dave Brock here. New tariffs take effect today. Tariffs pure and simple are tax increases. So the cost of your avocados, your bananas and sadly even your tequila and whiskey is going to go up. And the cost of new home building and new cars is going to go up as well making those simple American dreams harder to achieve for more of us.

Corporations are the only ones who benefit from tariffs because they pass the cost on to us. We do not need the richest man in the world telling us what’s best for us. Nor do we need the puppet that he got elected President telling us how to live our life because he was born on third base and claimed he hit a triple.

If we want to really improve America we must put more money in the hands of working people pure and simple. Corporations and billionaires should not be getting more money.
