In an era of rising insurance costs, strategic decisions can make a significant impact. For the 1/1/2025 insurance renewal, one-third of all Farm Credit entities saw a premium decrease—and it wasn’t by chance. These institutions benefited from higher deductible options; a strategy that has become increasingly common outside of Farm Credit due to sustained double-digit insurance rate increases in the commercial market.
