Happy Finals Week, TJ!

We had a great time celebrating the Class of 2023 last week at DU Magness Arena! The class of 2023 earned over 11.5 million dollars in scholarship money and 90% of them have been accepted to a 2 or 4 year University! We are so proud of all of their accomplishments and wish them nothing but success in their futures!

Class of 24, 25, and 26...be sure to get some good rest this week and best of luck on your finals! We can't wait to see you all next fall when the new school year begins!

As we turn the page on another great year at TJ I want to thank our tremendous PTO for everything that they do for our students, staff, and community. They continue to raise the bar each year and I look forward to continuing our amazing partnership next year!

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and entrusting us with your kids every day.

Have a great summer!

¡Feliz semana final, TJ!

Finals Week Schedule

Kudos Korner
  • Congrats and thank you to Danyelle Charles and Carla Allen for their hard work to make graduation a success!

  • Huge thanks to those who keep our TJ Food Bank running throughout the year! We would like to recognize social worker Samanda Davis and TJ parents Megan Perkins, Becca Mahoney, and Jillian Krause for their tireless efforts gathering and distributing food to families monthly throughout the school year. The families are so grateful for your support and generosity!

After an amazing first place finish at the Denver Seaperch Regional back in March on May 13th Ben Finke, Ax Nagel, Alyssa Nurmat, and Breck Shupe traveled to Baltimore, Maryland to Compete in the 12th Annual International Seaperch Competition.

There were a total of 147 teams in 3 divisions with over 800 students at the competition, while we didn't take top 3 in any of the individual categories, we did an amazing job overall. Out of 70 teams in our division we placed as follows:

21st overall

10th on the MIssion Course

13th on the Obstacle course

42nd on the team video

65th on the Technical Design Report

Way to go, Robotics!

TJ Performing Arts - We'd Love to Have Your Input for Shows!

Hey TJ!

The Performing Arts Department can't wait for next year's season of plays and musicals and we want your voice!

We have narrowed down the options to the following:

Fall Play: Alice in Wonderland, Clue, and Noises Off

Spring Musical: Kiss Me Kate, Mamma Mia!, and Mean Girls

Scan the QR Code and pick your favorites! If you are only interested in one or the other, no worries, you are not required to be in both shows.

Hope to hear from you before you head off to Summer, and hope to see you at auditions when we're back for Fall!

Chromebooks

This summer families will need to complete a form in order to check out a student chromebook over the summer. Families will receive a link to the opt-in form through the Your Voice/ Tu Voz survey and through School Messenger. If a family does not complete the survey they will be charged for the device and it will be locked down.

Seniors you must turn-in your chromebook, charger, and hotspot (if it applies) during check-out. Please be sure that it is free of any stickers and note any issues that it may have.

For students transferring out of the district the same applies, but instead of during check-out. You will be turning it in after your last final.

Here is a link to the survey if anyone is having issues: https://survey.k12insight.com/r/3QknXz
