Dear Partners,
The Children’s Safety Network, in collaboration with the Children’s Safety Now Alliance – the national partnership of injury prevention leaders and experts from national organizations, federal agencies, state health departments, hospitals, and universities - drives action toward health equity for all infants, children, and adolescents.
Addressing racism is a key component of this work. Injury and violence prevention leaders and practitioners are uniting to raise awareness, develop and share resources, and ensure the health and safety of our children.
Throughout this newsletter, please refer to the highlighted resources to address health equity and combat the impact of systemic racism on child and adolescent health.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Leonardo, PhD
Children’s Safety Network Director
