All Saints Day Liturgy on Nov. 1

All Saints Day is a time to remember the special bond we share with the living and the dead. This feast gives us the opportunity to celebrate all saints, both official saints and "everyday saints" who inspire us and help us along our journey.  Each of us are called to be saints - to live our ordinary lives with extraordinary love.

Jefferson Awards Nominations
Open through Monday, November 11th

The Multiplying Good, Students In Action Program seeks to empower students to think big, choose their own public service passion, engage their entire school and broader communities, and create maximum impact.

Through celebration, Multiplying Good grants Jefferson Awards that are meant to honor a person's commitment to service and inspire action in others to create positive change within their communities and the world.

Please nominate any Carondelet student, parent, teacher, or staff member who demonstrates extraordinary service. The nominee may qualify in one of two ways.
  1. The Continuous Service Award - They have given an extraordinary amount of time to community service.
  2. The Special Projects Award - They have seen a need that was being neglected and created a service opportunity to take care of that need.
Nominate a Carondelet Community Member.  Nominations are due by the end of the day on Monday, Nov. 11th.  Questions? See or email Ms. Terry in Campus Ministry.

Forensics Bloodstain Pattern Analysis

Dr. Hutches' Forensics class performed bloodstain pattern analysis tests on Halloween. Students created several "blood" patterns by dropping mock blood from various heights, angles, speeds, and using repeated blows.

They'll compare the bloodstain patterns they produced with evidence they found at a mock crime scene earlier in the semester.
Earlier this week was one of our absolute favorite days of the year: St. Marty's Party, where we transform our campus into an over-the-top Halloween Celebration!  We welcomed more than 80 kids from the Monument Crisis Center (and a few of our own teachers' mini-me's) to campus for Trick or Treating, a Scare Room, games, and more.  None of this would have been possible without the more than 260 students who volunteered to make the party a memorable evening for the visiting kiddos!
