November is National Gratitude Month, and what better way to celebrate than to honor those who sparked your passion for the Arts. Whether it was a teacher who inspired creativity, a supportive family member, or a devoted friend who encouraged you to take the stage - their impact is immeasurable. We invite you to share your stories of gratitude on social media (don't forget to tag us @ripleygrierstudios).
See you at the studios.

HURRICANE RELIEF
Donate to World Central Kitchen
|
World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a group of first responders who are currently providing hot meals to communities affected by the recent hurricanes in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
The destruction is devastating.
WCK anticipated the need, and their Rapid Response Field Kitchen Team pre-positioned and ready to respond quickly. It's a long road to recovery, as WCK continues to blanket the devastated region with much needed food and water aid.
If you are looking for a way to help, please give to WCK.
Ripley-Grier Studios provides ongoing contributions for WCK by selling merch and providing donation boxes at all 4 RG locations. Click the link below to donate directly to World Central Kitchen.

Greetings:
Vote! Vote! Vote! Be a part of history, exercise your hard fought and amazing freedom! Jeannie and I voted early, this was the first time I have ever voted early, but the tension of the time gave me the impetus to do so. Jeannie was originally going to wait but decided to come with me. We voted at our City Hall in Long Beach. It was a busy place. It's hard to describe the anxiety about this election that I am experiencing and I am sure that many folks are in the same state of mind. Please get out and VOTE! This is a very important election for many reasons. Make the effort and do not start the day after the election with regretting you didn't.
Hope you enjoyed your Halloween and got past that scary, cleanse the goonies out, time of the year. Looking forward to a peaceful Thanksgiving holiday with plenty to be thankful for, especially good family time. Speaking of which, our oldest grandson, Jackson, had his 23rd "Birth"day on 10/30. He is attending and commutes to SUNY College at Stony Brook. Ethan, our next in line is attending Adelphi University in Hempstead. Brooklyn, our granddaughter is finishing up at Long Beach High School this year and is looking at several schools to continue her studies. Griffin, our youngest grandson, with be entering High School next fall. And of course, Jeannie, our daughter, received her Masters in public relations this past summer. Whew, glad that is a goal for all of our kids. I am thinking of returning to school, myself, as I never finished my BA at Monmouth College (now Monmouth University). We were just down there for a beautiful wedding in the garden at the Great Hall on the 20th of October. Spent a weekend in my old haunts, Asbury Park and Long Branch. Monmouth University has become a major influence in that area and has made it's mark as an involved cultural institute. It now hosts the Bruce Springsteen Archives and is prominent in governmental polls and hosts many dignitaries and influential movers and shakers during the year.
Speaking of this holiday season, continue to exercise and get outside while we have this amazing fall weather. Watch what you eat and drink. Visit friends and family and partaayy!
To conclude, please enjoy all your families and friends this Holiday Season. Wishing everyone a lovely Thanksgiving and speak to you all again in December.
Better and Better, Patricia

Hi everyone!
I've slowed down with concerts after returning from my trip to Columbus, OH to see Twenty One Pilots play three hometown shows. I had an amazing trip there and got to hang out with a bunch of new friends that I'm excited to see again the next time they tour! Since coming back from Columbus, I saw Nothing But Thieves for the first time since 2018, Joywave for the fourth time, The Voidz for a third time, and André 3000. I also spent all 4 days at New York Comic Con with my friend Lauren! I met Danny Elfman, Jack Quaid, Jacksepticeye, John Boyega, and we both met Matt Smith. We're getting ready to go to Rhode Island Comic Con together in November!
I was able to see the Off-Broadway musical Distant Thunder before its closing on October. 27th. It was a beautiful, eye-opening story about Native American Culture featuring 15 amazing indigenous actors.
Until next month, Jeannie
