It was quite an eventful weekend at the farm! Both the Farm to Table Dinner and our annual Fall Festival were a huge success and so much fun for everyone involved. Check out the pictures below - our packing barn was transformed into a beautiful fall setting on Saturday. After an amazing 6-course dinner complete with wine pairings, our guests let loose and danced all night with local band, Bandera. Sunday was our Fall Festival when members and their families painted pumpkins, made scarecrows, and challenged friends to sack races. Everyone got to meet our goats, Jake & Elwood, and take a hayride tour of our farm. We had refreshments in the packing barn while we enjoyed Texas Swing music by local band, Skiffle Minstrels - even some of the kiddos were on the dance floor. We're so thankful to our dedicated crew who pulled everything together for a really special weekend and to our members and friends who joined us - we're really looking forward to hosting future events!

Farm News

It's been a beautiful week at the farm spent cleaning up after our events, packing onions for our wholesale accounts, and preparing ground to plant garlic. We did a late planting of zucchini and yellow squash that was transplanted in August. We've had heavy dews in the mornings that don't burn off until early afternoon, creating a perfect environment for fungal diseases to thrive. Time will tell how the zucchini comes along, but we've reached the end of our tomato season. And what a tomato season it's been - one of the best we've had in recent years!
