Dear St. Alphonsus Families,
What a special week we had this week at St. Alphonsus Catholic School! It was Grandparents Day, and we always enjoy having such special guests in our building to spend time with our students. Thank you to everyone who attended. You can see some pictures of the event below and we will also be sharing more on our Instagram account here!
In other news, we are making a change to the schedule of the school newsletter. Today will be the last FRIDAY newsletter you receive, because starting October 30 you will receive the school newsletter mid-day on MONDAYS instead. This will help not only with staff workload but also allows us to look ahead in our communications with you and not bombard you with classroom and school emails on Fridays. The next school newsletter will come out Monday, October 30. Thank you!
We also wanted to include for you some reminders and need-to-knows about paying tuition. First, our tuition is a flat rate--we charge one flat rate for the year, but because of how our RevTrack system works, you will see that tuition in your account is divided up monthly. This means you can choose the frequency and amounts you pay; however, we do have a Tuition Payment Schedule to share. (Please also note that the school year is only 10 months long.)
- If you would like to pay tuition MONTHLY, your payments are due by the 15th of each month.
- If you would like to pay tuition QUARTERLY, your payments are due on the following dates: October 15, December 15, March 15, June 15
- If you would like to pay tuition SEMI-ANNUALLY, your payments are due by December 15 and June 15.
- If you would like to pay your tuition YEARLY up front, your payment is due December 15.
- ALL final tuition payments for the year are due by June 15.
Please also remember that you do not need to pay online if you don't want to--you are always welcome to pay tuition with a check. Bring it to the school office and our office staff will give you a receipt. Checks are entered into PowerSchool once per week. Please be sure you include your student(s) name on the check.
Finally, another reminder as we get into cold weather season to please make sure you are subscribed to our text notifications. If you did not receive the test texts we sent last week, please text YES to 87569 to opt in to receiving our alerts and notifications. If someone received the texts last week that does NOT want to receive them, text STOP to 87569. You can also edit which numbers will receive notifications by logging into the Parent Portal for Bright Arrow. This is explained in the Bright Arrow Parent User Guide, sent last week, and also attached here. If we have a school closing or emergency, we will always use email, voice, AND text to contact you.
Have a great weekend!
