Bring your friends and family to Memorial Boo-levard for the best Halloween event in Central Connecticut! Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged for everyone! Our Haunted Spirits Brew Tent will have an array of fall beverages, with a live DJ dishing out spooky music all afternoon.

NEW THIS YEAR: Coffin Races!  Watch as costumed teams of four push their decorated coffins to their final resting place... the finish line! Pick your favorite and cheer them along! The coffins will be on display at 3PM and races begin at 5PM.

27th Annual Turkey Shoot Basketball Contest

Saturday, November 18th

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Ages 4 - 13 (Plus a Parent/Guardian)

Child and guardian teams will compete in a basketball foul shooting contest for a chance to win a $25 gift card to purchase a Thanksgiving turkey, along with other great door prizes! Time slots are broken down by age. This event is Free but requires Pre-Registration.  Learn More or Register

Scuba Santa will be making a very special appearance this holiday season! Choose a 15 minute window where in that time frame you will have a 5-minute session underwater photo with Scuba Santa! This event is FREE with the donation of one, unwrapped gift per family to benefit our Youth and Community Services Annual Holiday Gift Giving Program Toy Drive. Donations will be distributed to those in need within the Bristol community. Learn More

Consisting of four, one-hour sessions, classes include fundamentals of the set-up, fundamentals of the golf swing, how to play with irons and woods, pitching, sand bunker play, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette, and much more. Designed for both golfers who has never played before, as well as the more experienced players who wants to learn more about the game and improve their score, lessons are offered in Adult Novice Classes, Women Only Classes, and Junior Classes.   Learn More

Grooving to the beats of salsa, flamenco, and merengue music makes this class feel more like a dance party than a workout, which is exactly what makes Zumba so popular. Zumba is an interval workout. Classes move between high and low intensity moves designed to get your heart rate up and boost cardiovascular endurance. This program is perfect for participants of all skill and experience levels. Upgrade Your Play

Riordan Playground

Federal Hill Green


After 573 votes, the community chose Option #2 for the Riordan Playground Upgrade Your Play Campaign. Option #2 includes a variety of climbing, sliding, and swaying equipment that trains cross-body coordination and balance. The play shells and hammock offer meeting spots for social interaction, areas of observation, and a place of respite. The two-sided play panel encourages learning of sign language and braille. Contrabass chimes complete this layout, bringing a towering appearance to the site with a low resonant sound that encourages sensory exploration. The playground is set to be installed in Spring 2025.
