Students will be attending an all school Mass on Tuesday, November 1st at 8:15am in recognition of All Saints Day. Families are invited to join students on this holy day of obligation. Please allow for classrooms to occupy the front sections of our church.
With the potential of continuing work on the upper parking, the school wants to be proactive in ensuring student safety. Morning drop off will remain the same with the students being dropped off on the upper parking lot. Beginning on Monday, October 31st, we will return to the procedure from prior years of having pick up on the lower parking lot. Listed below are some reminders and guidelines for those unfamiliar with the process. If you have questions or concerns and could not make this morning's meeting, feel free to contact the school office.
All cars will need to park. As the cars are parked, there needs to be adherence to the kids’ safety path. The safety path entails cars to back out and not pull ahead when leaving the school grounds. These pathways will be clearly marked and staff will be directing the process throughout the first week.
Parents with students in K4-2nd grade will need to exit their car and come and pick up their children. As adults are walking to their child, they need to adhere to following the same safety path that the students are required to follow.
4k-2nd grade students will be dismissed from the south doors (same doors as prior years, door E9).
3rd-8th grade students will be dismissed from the north doors (same doors as prior years, E10).
Both approaches can be utilized for entrance and exit.
The 4th & 5th Grade students visited the state Capitol building this week, gaining lasting impressions about state government. While in Madison, they received a great lesson in history, architecture, and fun stories about our state government. Thank you Mrs. Bon and and Mrs. VanVreede!
The students in K4, K5, 7th & 8th went on a field trip This week to Green Meadows Pumpkin Farm! They enjoyed a beautiful day exploring the pumpkin patch, going on a hay ride, pony rides, and feeding sheep. What a fantastic day!
