REMINDER: NO SCHOOL

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9 and MONDAY, OCTOBER 12

A Note From the Principal:

Welcome Back, Fr. Jose! We are so happy to welcome Fr. Jose home from his visit to India. We know he missed us while he was away, but we are even happier that he was able to enjoy this special time with his family. We are grateful to have him back with our St. Jude family!

Four-Day Weekend! A reminder that all St. Jude families have a four-day weekend beginning tomorrow! We hope you take some time to slow down, enjoy one another, and get outside for a little Fall fun. Go for a hike, visit a pumpkin patch, enjoy some football, bake something yummy, or simply enjoy the beautiful season together!

Grandfriends Day – Friday, October 16

We are excited to welcome our Grandfriends of students in BG–2 on Friday, October 16! Grandfriends will join us for donuts before Mass and a special morning together. We can't wait to celebrate these very special people in the lives of our Jaguars!

PTO Trunk or Treat! Don't forget to sign up for our PTO’s annual Trunk or Treat! This is such a fun, festive, and safe way for our Jaguars to celebrate Halloween with their St. Jude family. We hope to see lots of creative trunks and lots of smiling faces!

Godspeed,

Principal Molly Hibler

HELPFUL RESOURCES

Junior High Service Opportunity

Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) mission is to build and provide beds for children who would otherwise be sleeping on the floor.

Students aged 6 and older are welcome to attend; adults must be present with

all students. Students aged 12 and older will be able to use hammers.

Bunk Building: One of the best ways to get involved is by participating in a scheduled Build Day. No experience is necessary! Volunteers work together to transform a pile of lumber into a safe, comfortable, and life-changing bed for a child in need.

Connecting for Kids is a group in Northeast Ohio that helps parents. We support families who are worried about their child — whether it’s autism, ADHD, anxiety, school or just a hard time in life. We offer free programs, help finding resources and a caring community where parents feel welcome.

Candidates are taking a vocal stance on school choice. Ohio's gubernatorial candidates both share their views on education through their campaign websites.

For families who depend on EdChoice, this is about more than a policy debate. It is about whether parents will continue to have meaningful choices for their children’s education.
