I would like to send a big Wolf Welcome to our school community for the 21-22 school year! We are off to a great start with smiling faces and busy schedules. This week we are focusing on making connections, building community, encouraging a positive school culture as well as our fall NWEA MAPS placement, picture day and school safety. Please read through the school safety letter for our "l Love You Guys" foundation emergency protocols. We look forward to meeting you all tomorrow evening at Back to School Night, Thursday, August 12th 7:00-8:30 pm. And as always, if you have questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to us!

Important Dates

Please keep younger siblings out of the parking lot at 3pm when our CEC students come out. We want to keep the parking lot safe for everyone by not having children running in the parking lot.
At pick up, please pull into the parking lot on the north side of the building (near field) to avoid congestion along the side of the building.




CEC drop off time is 7:30-7:50am
Axis main drop off time is
7:50-8:00am
To avoid traffic congestion, especially on snowy days, please plan to drop off your students by 7:45am

Just a reminder, students need to be in class at:
7.50am not 8:00am
and picked up by 3.20pm. Please utilize after school care if you plan to be later. See below to register at link below.

Procedure for picking up students during school hours:
Please have your child pick up a pass from Mrs LeFevre, our Attendance Monitor BEFORE class and have your child give it to the teacher whose class they will be leaving. This will minimize disruption to the teacher and the class and Mrs LeFevre will know when to pull your child from class.
For your student's safety, we will only permit people listed in your Infinite Campus Relationships to pick up your child and they will need to sign out at Reception. A note from the provider should be sent with your child the next day and handed to Mrs LeFevre if you wish the absence to be excused.
She may be reached at the Attendance Line at (970) 666-4032 or at marika.lefevre@coloradoearlycolleges.org. Voicemail messages are checked throughout the day.
If your child is unable to make it to school, please call the attendance line (970) 666-4032 and leave a message. Please refer to the Student and Family Handbook for more detailed information.
Picture Day

Photos will be taken of your student on Friday, August 13 for their student ID card and for the yearbook.

After School Care

Unfortunately, Boys and Girls Club are unable to continue at CECFC West after school. However, they want to offer CECFC West MS dedicated spots at their facility at 1608 Lancer Drive, ten minutes away from our school. If transportation was provided, they could hold spots at no charge to kids and families. Click here to email Mrs Brandt to put your name on a carpool list (parents arrange rideshare to Boys and Girls Club)

We have two options for those families needing care at the building depending on your timing needs:

  1. Click here to complete this form for homework help at CECFC West MS from 3.15-4pm.
  2. Click here to complete After School Care Registration for care at Axis from 4-5.30pm. Click here to complete Axis Family Programs form and click here to complete the Axis General Health form. Must complete all three forms. Click here to see rates for Axis After Care Services.


Boys and Girls Club would be happy to continue putting on "Tween Nights" at CECFC West on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on interest.

Carpooling

Please email Mrs Brandt to put your name on a list for carpooling to and from CECFC West.

Please provide the following:

  • Parent Name
  • Student Name
  • Address
  • Phone
  • Region (see below)
  • # of students
Regions are:
  • North of Fort Collins (eg. Wellington)
  • North Fort Collins
  • South Fort Collins
  • East Fort Collins
  • North Loveland
  • South Loveland
  • South of Loveland (eg. Berthoud)
Remember, you can earn a $100 E-Gift Card for every student you refer to CECFC West MS! We look forward to seeing new faces next year!
Due to new state requirements, awards will ONLY be given to active students or a parent/guardian with an active student who completely fills out the Refer-A-Friend Form and submits it by October 1 of the current school year.
