Thank You Scott

I want to share that Scott Smith, who has been part of the Chamber team for the past six years, will be moving on from his role. Six years is a significant tenure—well above the average for many professional positions—and we are grateful for the time, energy, and commitment Scott has given to our members and our mission. We wish Scott all the best in his future endeavors and thank him for his contributions to the Chamber during his time with us.

Information Center Drop-Off Location for WCAP Baby Shower Donations

In addition to the Waldo Community Action Partners office and the Waldo County YMCA, the Chamber is also happy to be a donation location for the Waldo County Community Baby Shower. There will be a community baby shower event on October 4th at Mermaid Plaza in Searsport.

There is also an Amazon Wishlist and financial donations will also be accepted. If you know a new parent or someone who is going to be having a baby, please share the baby shower information. As always if you have any question please contact Kristie Hamlin at 207-338-6809 or at khamlin@waldocap.org.

Annual Book Drive for Holiday on the Harbor

It's never too early to start planning and we're excited to kick off our 4th annual Ho-Ho-Holiday Book Drive at the Chamber Information Center in collaboration with the Belfast Rotary Club!

You can donate new or almost new books at 33 Main St. now through December 12th. On December 13th at our Holiday on the Harbor event at the Belfast Boathouse, visiting children will be able to select a book to take home. This has been a wonderful addition to our holiday event and we look forward to continuing it.
