REMINDER


Our rescheduled Parent Night is tonight, September 21st.



The main school doors will be open at 5:30 and we will gather in the church at 5:45. Following prayer and a brief presentation, we will hold two classroom sessions. The first will run from 6:00-6:20 and the second will take place from 6:25-6:45. We look forward to seeing families then and wish all of our school community a great weekend!

For the month of September, Any 'No Uniform' passes that have been earned in the past years MAY BE REDEEMED on

September 26th.

A reminder that each month there will be two days in which students may redeem their 'No Uniform Passes.

There will be opportunities to earn additional passes throughout the school year as well.

Chess Scholars: Grades K-8

Develop your child's intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children's motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach.


STEAM: Grades K-5

This exciting program from Afterschool Enrichment Solutions brings together elements of science, art and math in a hands-on, action-packed environment! Students will conduct experiments, play educational games, and unlock their creativity through building challenges and projects. No experience necessary!

St. John Bosco Youth Day!


All 6th- 12th graders are invited to St. John Bosco Youth Day on Saturday September 30th for a retreat experience. This truly is an amazing experience- youth are joined with hundreds of teens from all over the diocese. Any middle schoolers who cannot make St. John Bosco Day are than asked to participate in the NET retreat on Oct. 24th. Any 9th/10th graders unable to attend are then asked to participate in the High School Urban Plunge on Saturday April 20th. Please pick one retreat experience as part of your participation in this year's program.

If interested, please return the interest form and permission slip (unless parent is attending with you), so the parish can register as a group by September 24th. This was sent home after class on Sunday!

Please consider joining for service on

 Friday September 22nd at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission: 830 N. 19th Street for family fun night. Women and children at the center will participate in various crafts and games with volunteers and staff. 15-17 years of age can attend with a signed parental agreement; otherwise, families are invited to participate together!
