Administrator's Corner
September 26, 2022
Hello TJ Families,
I wanted to share with you the results of the most recent School Performance Framework as determined by the Colorado Department of Education. I am proud to say that TJ reached a "Green - Performance Plan" school rating, which is the highest rating that a school can achieve! The 2021-2022 school year was very challenging coming back from COVID with the constant changing of protocols, masking, infections, etc...Despite all of that our students and teachers were still able to do some amazing things!
I also want to congratulate our newest members of our Collaborative School Committee for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years! They are as follows:
Debra Locke
Wendi Gorelik
Robert Villarreal
I look forward to working with this group of parents!
Do not forget that we have Parent/Teacher conferences coming up in October! Conferences will be both In-Person and Virtual this year! We will have In-Person Conferences on Wednesday, October 12th (3:30-7:30 p.m.) and Virtual Conferences on Thursday, October 13th (3:30-7:00 p.m.). We will be providing more information on how to sign up for conferences soon!
Finally, the same week of Parent/Teacher conferences we will also have a modified school schedule due to practice PSAT9 and PSATNMSQT testing. The schedule for the week will be as follows:
October 10th - normal day of school, all students must attend
October 11th - normal day of school, all students must attend
October 12th - ONLY 10th and 11th grade students by credit are to attend (no classes for 9th or 12th grade) (**please note: 12th graders who are in an Edgenuity course are required to attend on Wednesday and Thursday.**)
October 13th - ONLY 9th grade students by credit are to attend (no school for 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students unless they are in an extended testing room)
October 14th - NO CLASSES - Teach comp day for Parent/Teacher conferences on the 12th and 13th.
Thank you TJ families for your continued support!!
Go Spartans!
Hola FAMILIAS TJ,
Debra Locke
Wendi Gorelik
Robert Villarreal
¡Espero trabajar con este grupo de padres!

2023 PARENTS: HELP US SUPPORT OUR SENIORS!
LET’S BE GREAT - EVERYONE DONATE
Please DONATE $23 for ‘23
Let’s all make a final push and send in our support now $10 $23 $50 $100 $230 whatever you are able to do! This money supports all 2023 fun class activities, community-building, senior year events and of course AFTER-PROM! We purchased and handed out fun yellow SENIOR SPARTAN SHADES to all the seniors for Homecoming TJ Spirit Day & Pep Rally - they LOVED THEM - thank you! Community-building lately also included us underwriting the Senior Sleepout and the Senior Splash events and so the students made all the money from the events for their Prom. These events could not happen without your Financial Support! Let’s keep up the momentum for a Great Senior Year!
