Students and staff are beginning to settle into the daily routine as we near the end of the second week of school. We appreciate all that our families are doing to make this a successful school year.

On Thursday, September 14th all families are invited to attend Parent Night. We will begin at 5:45 in the church (please enter through the school building). The first classroom session will take place from 6:00-6:20 with the second session taking place from 6:25-6:45.

You will hear information on The MAPS Testing, both from the end of last year and the plan moving forward for this year at the 5:45 session.

The 2023-24 school year is shaping up to be a special year for St. Joes. We look forward to working with all of you to ensure the best for all of our students.

Hello St. Joseph Families,

This fall, I will be offering a Guitar and Ukulele Club from 3:15-4:00 pm on Wednesdays. The club will start on September 13th and meet weekly through December 6th. During the meeting time, students will receive both group and individual instruction on their instrument. Space is limited to 15 students in 2nd-8th grades.

The cost for Guitar and Ukulele Club is $50. There is no cost for those enrolled in the School Choice program or who are in financial need.

Students interested in learning the guitar need to provide their own instrument. School ukuleles are available for students to use during the club meeting time, but students would need their own ukulele if they would like to practice at home.

If you are interested in joining the Guitar and Ukulele Club or have questions, please email me at webberc@stjosephschooltosa.com by Friday, September 8th.

Have a blessed school year!

-Ms. Caila Webber
