Golden Age of America is Underway

In November, Montana Republicans won all 7 partisan state-wide races on the ballot and nationally, Republicans won the White House, the Senate, and the House. We hold high hopes that the era of American decline is over and believe the Golden Age of America is underway! President Trump has been working 24/7 to keep us safe by securing our borders and reducing our cost of living by unleashing American energy.

In April, an America First trade policy will be fully instituted, bringing fairness and opportunity to businesses in America. Trump's Administration is focused on streamlining government bureaucracy, ending the weaponization of government, demanding government transparency, and ultimately holding government bureaucrats accountable. With a finely tuned government and a level business playing field, The Golden Age of America will soon be here.

REPORT: 2025 Day at Montana's Capitol

Members attending the Stand at the Capitol event had an enjoyable time. Our group was honored from the floor in both the House and Senate galleries. We also observed the Montana Legislature in active sessions from their galleries.

Members also had the opportunity to participate in line dancing in the Flag Plaza in front of the State Capitol and a tour of the Capitol given by Montana Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras.

Dinner and workshop speakers included NFRW District Director Britney Mitchell Garner, Montana Family Foundation lobbyist Patrick Webb, Leadership Institute trainer Josh Emerick, and Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) liaison Andy Mangione.

NFRW's Western Regional Highlights

MTFRW President Suzzann Nordwick and MTFRW Secretary Penney Howe were honored to be Montana's representatives at NFRW's Western Regional Conference in Westlake California.

Event speakers included Fox News personality and Califailure author Steve Hilton, California GOP Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson, Conservative firebrand Nick Adams, and National Federation of Republican Women President Julie Harris.

MTFRW Supports AG Austin Knudsen

On March 28, 2025, many of our members showed up in support of Attorney General Austin Knudsen as Montana's Supreme Court heard arguments for punishment in a politically motivated lawfare* case. The suit against Knudsen is a “professional conduct” complaint from his use of “strong language” in 2021 when as Attorney General he was representing the Montana Legislature in proceedings. Counsel asked that any punishment be fully dismissed.

The court is now deliberating. Hopefully the justices do the right thing. This case was not brought to uphold justice but to politically neutralize our Attorney General for simply representing a co-equal branch of government. The public support was clearly in support of Knudsen in the overflowing audience in the Supreme Court chamber, which included MTFRW members from Gallatin, Jefferson, Lewis and Clark, Ravalli, Roosevelt, and Silver Bow Counties.

*Lawfare is the use of the legal system to act against a political opponent.

Susie Hedalen Invited to White House

Montana Superintendent of Public Instruction Susie Hedalen was invited by President Trump to the White House as he signed an executive order returning control of education back to states.

Susie Hedalen fully supports the President in this historic shift to reduce federal bureaucracy and improve opportunities for students, teachers, and families. The following is from her official press release:

“I want to thank President Trump and Secretary McMahon for their historic action to return education back to the states and local communities. I want to make it clear that President Trump is working to return our education tax dollars to Montana’s parents, teachers, and local communities who know what’s best for their students. We don’t need top-down mandates from DC bureaucrats.”

MEN ARE NOT WOMEN IN MONTANA

The fact that men are not women was put into Montana law last week when Governor Gianforte signed two bills sponsored by Representative Kerri Seekins-Crowe who has fought for years to protect female rights and defend girls' sports.

These new laws safeguard privacy and security for women and girls. HB121 legally defines a man as having XY chromosomes and a woman as having XX chromosomes and it prevents biological males from going into spaces designated for women, such as locker rooms and sleeping quarters. HB300 prevents biological males from participating in women's sports in the state.

Governor Gianforte noted, “We’re maintaining equal opportunity for all Americans, while also protecting women and girls and their right to safe and separate facilities and activities.”

Kerri Seekins-Crowe is proud to see Montana draw a hard line against the woke agenda and she noted, "Women will not be erased!" Montanans wanted protected spaces for women: men do not belong in women's spaces! Below links to a clip of her NEWSMAX interview.
