Since this is our last newsletter before we break for Christmas, on behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I wish you and your families a wonder-filled and blessed Advent and Christmas season.
When we get back from the holidays, we will begin planning, and registering, for the 2019-2020 school year. If you are interested in applying for the Catholic Education Foundation Scholarship from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, you need to apply through FACTs by January 31, 2019. Each child in your family could earn up to $1,000 toward tuition for the 2019-2020 school year. Click Here for more details.
Once you have completed the FACTs online application, you are also automatically considered for the for St. Veronica Parish assistance, the following information will need to be uploaded to FACTs to complete the application process:
- Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of your 2018 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers' Compensation, and TANF.
So, during the holidays, in between spending time with friends and family, baking, shopping, wrapping, and eating, gather together the paperwork you will need to take advantage of some of the $2,000,000 the Archdiocese has set aside for scholarship money.
There has been a wide spread stomach illness that has recently hit our primary grades. It has come to our attention that some students are returning to school the next day after experiencing an illness. We are requesting that if your child has a fever or has been vomiting, you please keep them home the next day. Our current school policy states that a child may return to school upon being 24 hours fever free without the aid of medication. We are now implementing this if a child is vomiting or is sent home vomiting.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter. If you have any questions please feel free to contact your child's teacher.
