We are all concerned about COVID-19 and want to do what we can to keep healthy and contain the virus while keeping calm and going about our daily lives. As a parish and a regional community, we are working to stay as up-to-date as possible with what is happening in our county, Archdiocese, state, and country.
With the directives Governor DeWine shared at today's press conference a lot of things are happening rather quickly. We ask that you work with us to make this transition work and understand that we are still working out some details. Here are the plans going forward:
The school play has been cancelled for this weekend with the possibility of reinstating it at a later time. However, the Friday Night cast will have practice tonight. We are doing this so that we can recorded the performance. There will not be more than 100 people in attendance, so this will be following the directive as outlined by Governor DeWine.
St. Veronica will be closed for three weeks effective at the end of day tomorrow. We are looking at the possibility of not taking off the week of April 13th to the 16th, as originally scheduled, since we will have just been off for three weeks, but that is not yet determined. The teachers are working to provide home lessons via the internet or through packets. That, too, will be determined by the end of day tomorrow. You will be contacted by your teacher with further information. Any new updates will be posted on the school and parish websites, and will get emailed to you through Constant Contact.
JESUS DAY: Our second graders Jesus Day is scheduled for Sunday, March 29th and this will stay on the calendar. With the number of First Communicants, and one parent per student, we should be under the 100-person limit.
