PARISH FESTIVAL
REVERSE RAFFLE

HURRY,
TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

FROM THE DESK OF MS. BRESLER...
Dear Parents,

This school year was filled with hope, possibilities and challenges.  I know we have all grown during the year and we are all looking forward to summer and the freedom it brings.  Thank you for sharing your children with us!

NEW LOGO:
The Parish has designed a logo to unify all parish organizations. The parish has been using this new logo for the past few months. You may have noticed the new sign by the parish offices.  Starting next Fall the school will also begin using it on our website, our stationary and any publications.

The school colors will remain blue and gold, and the school plaid will remain the same.  Regarding uniforms with logos, any new uniforms should have the new logo.  Also, all new spirit wear should display the new logo.  If you currently have uniforms or spirit wear with the "old" logo, those can be used until the student outgrows them.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS:
The school office will be open during the summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.

WALK-A-THON UPDATE:
Congratulations to everyone! We have met out goal of $35,000 for the walk-a-thon!  It is wonderful when we can work together as a team to complete a project.

  PLAYGROUND UPDATE:
Work on the playground should begin on May 30th.  Next year the playground should be available for use even after a rainstorm the night before.

TEACHER UPDATES:
A few weeks ago, I let you know about the teachers who will be leaving us at the end of this year.  We are in the process of hiring their replacements.  While, I am not yet ready to announce any replacements as yet, I can share that Mrs. Schaeffer will remain in preschool and Ms. White will be moving to Kindergarten.

On June 1 we are going to put in a paver patio for the   James Sauls Homeless Shelter in Batavia.  If you can operate a shovel we are looking for help.  Two-hour time slots between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Or you can help paint woodwork inside the shelter or help serve lunch and snacks to the workers and residents in the shelter.  Go to the parish website for the Sign Up Genius form.

On June 7 we are working with Inter-Parish Ministries at a Mobile Food Pantry at Owensville Commons, 263 W.      On June 11 we are working with SEM Ministries in providing a hot cooked meal to the backtrack workers at Belterra/River Downs Racetrack.  If you want to provide a covered dish or dessert or join us at the track to serve the dinner we will carpool from the Parish Ministry Center at 5:45 to serve dinner at 6:30 and be back around 8ish.  Look for the Sign Up Genius on the parish website appearing on Friday.

We will also serve dinner on August 13. Same details so put it in your calendar.
