We sincerely hope that you and your family enjoy a safe, healthy, and restful winter break. While the holidays are often a time for friends and family, we recognize that they can also be stressful, especially given a new kind of stress that COVID-19 and physical distancing brings this holiday season. Although some people look forward to an extended break, others may struggle with a lack of structure, and while some people look forward to opportunities "to let loose", others may experience difficulty maintaining their recovery or with pressure from peers.
This season may also be different in that you might be experiencing a holiday without a loved one for the first time, or away from loved ones for the first time. Let us remember to be mindful and check in with ourselves, our students, family and friends during this time. While traditions may look different this year, the health and well-being of our CEC students and families continues to remain at the forefront of our concerns this (unique) holiday season, and we want to remind you that you are not alone and there is help available. Please click here to access a full list of local resources.

Emotional Wellbeing
If you are concerned that your student may be experiencing changes in their mood or experiencing suicidal behaviors or thoughts, please remember to:
· Stay with the student until you are sure they are safe.
· If there is an immediate threat to your student or other students, call 911.
We want to remind everyone in our community that there is help within our school, locally and nationally for many different challenges whether it be suicide, depression or self-harm, anxiety, trauma or other mental health concerns, substance use and addiction, domestic violence or assault or social anxieties and concerns about fitting in. If you or someone you know needs help, please don't hesitate to reach out and utilize these resources this holiday season, and we look forward to continue supporting you in the new year.

Enrollment Open for 2021-2022!
We would love your help in spreading the word about open enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year.
When we ask students how they heard about CEC, 9 times out of 10 it is because a friend, relative, or neighbor shared this with them. Our schools continue to grow and we continue to impact more and more Colorado families because of YOU! If you know a family that could benefit from our program, you can share our Facebook posts, our Informational Webinars, or the link to enroll.
Please contact Jule Zehrung with any questions or suggestions!
Next Information Session is Thursday, January 14th at 6pm
Existing students do not need to re-enroll.
