 CAMRA Powell River Membership Meeting.


CAMRA Powell River Executive invite you to a meeting this Wednesday, Dec 18, 2013 at 1800 hours (6 PM) at The Hub restaurant to discuss such topics as our upcoming AGM and both provincial and branch elections, upcoming advocacy campaign, upcoming craft beer events and to get feedback as to what the membership would like to see CAMRA Powell River doing. Meeting is open to all, including non-members curious about CAMRA Powell River and what we are about.


"Drive for 50" Contest.

In an effort to get our membership numbers up to the 50-member mark, CAMRA Powell River is running the "Drive for 50" contest with an amazing prize pack worth $240.00 which will have the winners attending a craft beer weekend hosted by Townsite Brewing!


Any current member who refers someone who signs up for a membership with CAMRA Powell River and any new members who sign up for membership are eligible to win the ultimate craft beer weekend prize pack!


Part one of the prize pack will be two tickets, each worth $75.00 to Townsite's BrewMaster Dinner, held January 17th where four local chefs will pair up gourmet dishes with four different BC craft beers from four of BC's best craft breweries. In addition, the brewmasters from each brewery invited by Townsite Brewery to participate, will be in attendance. Tickets to this event are as rare as hen's teeth as this is a dinner you do not want to miss out on!
Part two of the prize pack is two tickets, each worth
$45.00 to the upcoming Pajama Cask Party held at The Old Courthouse Inn on Saturday, January 18. The event will feature various cask beers, food and good times as this will be a "private" event taking over the entire hotel.


The contest runs from now until January 15. Any people wishing to sign up, please email  

with their contact information and the name of the member who referred them if applicable. Please put Drive for 50 in subject line to bring it to our immediate attention.
